Why We Started Groundly

We’re Will and Mandy — partners in life, in business, and, for a long time, in complete burnout.

For years, we were stuck in cycles we couldn’t seem to break.

Will was battling chronic sleep problems—tossing, turning, wide awake at 2 a.m. every night. Alongside that came persistent gut inflammation, leaving him uncomfortable and foggy day after day.

Mandy, meanwhile, was dealing with aching legs, deep fatigue, and that frustrating feeling of always running on empty—even after a full night’s sleep.

We tried everything.

“Take this supplement.”
“Try that sleep spray.”
“It’s probably just stress.”

It was always the same advice—generic, patchwork solutions that never got to the root of how we felt.

Then, late one night, in a rabbit hole of desperation and research, we came across grounding—the practice of connecting your body to the Earth’s natural electric charge.

We were skeptical.
But something about it just made sense.
It wasn’t a product. It wasn’t a prescription. It was a reconnection—something we’d unknowingly been missing in our modern lives.

So we tried it.
